Tip Top is number one , I do not understand why it is not higher in the ratings .
Hits are delivered daily in a timely manner..
And , Thom ( admin ) is right on top of things ..

We just need more people rating us. Actually I looked at the numbers and I guesstimate we need abaout 50 more people voting to break into the 30's

Meanwhile I have to say I am very happy with the ratings we are getting, the "surfers votes" (which shows how good the voters think we are) levels are well above average.

7.02 this week. If you sort by "surfers votes" that puts us on page one

My fault

Below i have added a listing of the weekly positions to illustrate.

Back in week 13 and the month before I was running a referral drive AND a drive to get more people voting.

And - It worked.

We went up to position 18

And then we were manually removed from the listing until we dropped back out of the top 20.


What went wrong was the referral drive was getting a lot of bad signups.

More than 1200 signups during the month - and I ended up deleting more than half of them.

Along with the votes, these bad signups helped to place us at position 18.

When this was seen - we were removed from the ranking and lost our 18th position. We were put back into the listing the following week when we had dropped out of the top twenty.

The referral drive at the same time is what messed it up.

IF I had not been running the referral drive at the same time, just concentrated on getting more votes,then the rising number of votes each week would have worked and not been any problem.



I admit I was very disappointed, and since then i have not been pushing so hard and the number of votes we get each week as fallen.

I did add the link at the top of the tools page that gives 5 free credits and a request to vote for Tiptop, but even though members collect the credits, not many vote.



I need to get back to giving this the push it needs.
